- Estimated Weekly Salary: $3,670–$3,930 per week
Physician Assistant Job Details
- Location: Uniontown, PA (travel to Belle Vernon, Dunbar, Mt Pleasant – all within 30 miles)
- Assignment Type: Locum tenens (travel/contract healthcare job)
- Duration: 13-week contract (Start: January 5, 2026 – End: April 6, 2026)
- Shift: 12-hour days (8am–8pm), Monday through Sunday
- Hours per Week: 36
- Shifts per Month: 10–12+
Physician Assistant Qualifications
- Active Physician Assistant license (PA-C) in Pennsylvania
- Minimum 2 years of urgent care experience or 1 year of emergency medicine experience
- Experience must be clearly outlined on CV
- Comfortable providing clinical care to patients of all ages (pediatrics to geriatrics)
- Proficient in orthopedic procedures (splinting), wound care, suturing, I&Ds, X-rays/EKGs, drawing blood/IVs
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced urgent care setting (no supervision)
- Willingness to travel between multiple urgent care sites within a 30-mile radius
- NPDB self-query (no more than 30 days old) required upon submission
Urgent Care Physician Assistant Responsibilities
- Provide urgent care services for a range of conditions, including cold/flu symptoms, rashes, abrasions, lacerations, sprains, and minor burns
- Perform splinting, X-rays/EKGs, drawing blood, I&Ds, and wound care procedures
- Deliver compassionate, efficient, and independent clinical care to patients of all ages
- Refer high-acuity cases to the local emergency room as appropriate
- Travel between Uniontown, Belle Vernon, Dunbar, and Mt Pleasant urgent care locations as needed
- Maintain high standards of patient care and documentation in a busy healthcare environment
