About the Role
Flagstaff Bone & Joint is seeking a part-time Physician Assistant (PA-C) to support our Same Day Access (SDA) Program — our fast-paced, same-day orthopaedic clinic is designed to keep patients out of the ER and into expert hands quickly.
You’ll evaluate acute orthopaedic injuries, guide patients through treatment plans, and collaborate closely with all our providers. Coverage is focused on Mondays, Fridays, and Saturdays, with flexible opportunities to broaden your role over time if that aligns with your goals.
What You’ll Do
- Evaluate and treat orthopaedic injuries within the Same Day Access clinic
- Obtain and review patient histories; develop appropriate treatment plans
- Order and interpret imaging
- Issue appropriate prescriptions
- Perform joint injections and other in-office procedures
- Document thoroughly and efficiently in the EMR
- Collaborate closely with physicians, PAs, NPs, PT/OT, and clinical support staff
- Provide patient education in an encouraging, solutions-focused manner
- Support the broader FBJ care team as needed during clinic hours

- Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program
- Current NCCPA certification
- Arizona PA license (or eligibility)
- BLS certification
- Orthopaedic or urgent care experience preferred, but not required — we value aptitude, judgment, and eagerness to learn
- Strong communication skills and comfort working in a high-paced, high-variety orthopaedic access clinic
