Lexington Clinic is seeking a dynamic and experienced Medical Director to spearhead our clinical services and ensure the highest standards of care at our brand-new Lexington, KY urgent care clinic.
Key Responsibilities:
Clinical Leadership: Directly supervise Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) and provide overall strategic direction for all clinical aspects of the urgent care center, ensuring high-quality, evidence-based patient care. Duties will include regular shifts in the clinic.
Quality Assurance: Oversee ongoing quality improvement initiatives, monitor clinical performance, and ensure adherence to all relevant healthcare standards and regulations.
Staff Development: Lead, mentor, and support a team of dedicated clinicians, fostering a culture of collaboration, professional growth, and continuous learning.
Operational Oversight: Work closely with administrative staff to optimize workflows, manage resources, and drive strategic initiatives for enhancing clinical services and patient satisfaction.
Compliance: Ensure all medical services and operations comply with local, state, and federal healthcare regulations.

Requirements
Qualifications:
Current, unrestricted license to practice medicine in KY. Previous Experience in a leadership or supervisory role, preferably within an urgent care setting is preferable Proven ability to manage clinical operations and a healthcare team effectively. Strong communication, interpersonal, and strategic planning skills. Commitment to evidence-based medicine and patient-centered care.
